A 45-year-old woman was surprisingly unsuccessful in robbing a US Bank in Yucca Valley on Monday with an unconventional choice of weapons: her hands held in the shape of guns.

Cops claim Royal Marie Fahrner was in the bank because her credit card had been stolen and she wanted a replacement. When someone from the bank stated that they could not replace the card, Fahrner got upset.

She proceeded to walk to the center of the bank, put her finger pistols in the air and yelled, “Everyone down, this is a robbery”.

Fahrner’s “weapons” did not scare anyone in the bank, but she was carrying a shoulder pack that employees thought may have contained actual weapons – so they called 911. At that point Fahrner fled from the from the bank. She was found by cops a short distance away at a grocery store with no weapons…real or the finger version.

Fahrner was arrested for attempted robbery.

No word if she was able to bring her “guns” into jail with her.
