Yucca Valley man arrested for stealing from friends and family, selling taken items on eBay

A 28-year-old Yucca Valley man was arrested on Wednesday after police say he stole from family and friends and then sold the taken items on eBay.

According to Z107.7, a man noticed some items had been take from his home while he was away. He checked eBay and saw the items listed for sale on the site and found that more stolen items had recently been sold by an acquaintance, William Menser.

Police were called and a search warrant was on Menser’s home, where detectives found additional items that had been reported stolen.

Menser was arrested for investigation of burglary/

Detectives believe that Menser was targeting friends and family and that there may be more victims. Anyone with more info is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
