A woman is dead after she was stabbed in Palm Desert on Sunday afternoon.
The stabbing happened about 3:30 pm on Panorama Drive, according to KESQ. Deputies arrived to find the victim suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A suspect was taken into custody.
Update: The victim has been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department as Nicole Henderson, 33, of Palm Desert.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Richard Colin Holbrook, of Escondido, and he has been charged with murder.
