First Lady Michelle Obama was in Rancho Mirage this weekend, but no one knows exactly what she was doing.
And while it is possible that she was house hunting or just looking for a secluded place to relax and chill, let’s take a look at some other possibilities from the weekend:
- Checking out the 5 to 6 booths that still come out for the College of the Desert Street Fair in July
- Going to see a Rush or Eagles tribute band at Rock Yard or Spotlight
- Taking advantage of Whole Food’s beer and fish & chips special (but, with no locals discount)
- Throwing down some local beers with a Groupon or two
- Laser bowling at Palm Springs Lanes
- “Men of the Hollywood Strip” at Zeldaz or Zeldas (or whatever the hell it is called)
- Seeing the band “America” in concert at Agua because they are still around for some reason
Wow! As always, there sure was an awful lot to do in The Coachella Valley on a late July weekend. Hope Michelle did not wear herself out.
Note: my Uncle says she was destroying America. But, he says that she and her hubby do that every weekend – no matter where they happen to be.
