The UCLA campus is on lockdown after at least 2 people were shot on Wednesday.

Students and staff have been urged to take shelter as police investigate the shooting, which took place in an engineering building, the statement said.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries or fatalities.

Update 11:09 a.m.: NBC News is reporting that 2 people are dead.

Update 11:20 a.m.: Police are looking for a suspect described as being a 6-foot-tall white male dressed in all black:
