A Twentynine Palms man was arrested on Thursday after police say he threatened his mom and dad with a broken glass bong after they told him to clean up after himself.

Police were called to Cactus Drive about 11:45 am. They were told that Jeremy Mason, 30, had become upset after his father asked him to clean up his things, according to Z107.7.

The parents told police Mason picked up a broken glass bong and threatened to hit them with it. They also said he threatened to stab them and burn their bodies. They say he then threw things at them while he attempted to run outside.

The mother sustained a small cut on her foot during the incident.

Mason was arrested for investigation of assault with a weapon.
