Truck headed for Canada busted with $11 million worth of heroin in Hesperia

A big rig bound for Canada that was busted on Thursday carrying 120 kilos of heroin on the 15 freeway in Hesperia.

The truck was pulled over for speeding just past Highway 395, heading north, a little before 7 am, reports KTLA. The drugs were then discovered in the trailer mixed in with the rest of the truck’s load.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $11 million dollars, according to Victor Valley News.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of transportation and possession of narcotics.
