“We spent 10 years making so many incredible memories skating, surfing and hanging out together,” Davis wrote of his friend. “No words can truly describe how much he’ll be missed.”

Tillman became a huge sensation when a video of him skateboarding was uploaded to YouTube in 2007.

But, it was not just skateboarding that Tillman enjoyed, he was also a surfer!

Tillman’s popularity led to a contract with Natural Balance Pet Food and several appearances in The Rose Parade:

According to the Ventura County Star, Tillman was suffering from a heart muscle disease and passed away while en route to a hospital.

RIP Tillman.
