This storm brought much more rain than anyone thought it would. Here’s how much.

The forecast had originally called for less than a half of an inch of rain, but the storm had more than that in mind.

Here’s how much rain has fallen so far in and around the Coachella Valley:

With the rain has come the usual issues such as slower traffic and, as always, Cathedral Canyon is closed at the wash, according to the Desert Sun.

First rain of the year in the desert. ????????????
