The Buzz trolley, which had been operating to the delight of locals and visitors until the city council voted to kill it before changing their minds and bringing it back, will hit the streets of Palm Springs again on January 10.
The city has a two-year agreement with Sunline to operate the service – which will run from noon to 10 pm Thursday through Sunday throughout they year. Yeah, I know, they didn’t just do it for the snow birds!
No word yet if the route will be the same, we recommend it shouldn’t and will just leave this here in hopes that someone improves it.
According to the Desert Sun, there will even be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the return of the Buzz on January 10 and it better include Mayor Buzzkill singing with Suzanne Somers again – otherwise, what’s the point?
