A Palm Springs’ door…yes, a fucking door, has its own hashtag.

#ThatPinkDoor has been used in conjunction with numerous photos on social media taken in front of a Palm Springs home with, you guessed it, a pink door.

Oh Palm Springs, this is why I love you.

The Desert Sun noticed the trend, though they have no idea who owns the home. It might be an Australian couple, but I have my money on the owner’s of this Seattle restaurant.

Mostly, the photos and hashtags are used for “modeling” photos in front of #ThatPinkDoor, like this one:

No one is really sure how they whole thing started – but, one thing is very clear: it appears tourists are just a bit desperate for things to do and see while staying in Palm Springs.
