Whatever medical condition might have caused the incident and Knight’s current condition is not known, but Deputy Dist. Atty. Cynthia J. Barnes told The LA Times that she believed Knight “did it in front of the cameras.”

TMZ posted footage of the incident:

Knight is accused of murder in a fatal hit-and-run in which he allegedly ran over two men with his car. His attorney spoke to the media after the bail hearing, via NBC 4:

“He was dripping sweat, like someone poured a bucket of water on him,” attorney Matt Fletcher said. “He wiped the sweat off his head and said, ‘I haven’t had my medication.'”

Paramedics arrived at the courthouse, but details regarding Knight’s condition were not immediately available.

The hearing was delayed after Knight missed an inmate transport bus from jail to the courthouse. After he arrived for the morning hearing, a judge set bail and ruled that Knight also must prove that any money used to pay for bail came from legitimate sources.

“Shocked, I’ve never seen a $25 million bail,” attorney Fletcher said.

Knight has two options regarding bail: 1) pay the entire $25 million in cash, or 2) pay a bond company 8 percent of the bail amount with the bondsman putting up the whole amount.

Prior to the fainting incident, Knight’s lawyer compared him to the character Lucious Lyon on “Empire” and dropped several F bombs in court:
