  1. Thank you for creating this list. It is very informational as I’ve never heard of a few of these places..

I’m very happy that Fame got some love. It does not get enough credit for being what it is. Where else can you go in the desert to smoke a cigar in a plush man cave and drink rare craft beers? The owner is extremely knowledgeable about everything he sells. With one TV though I wouldn’t recommend bringing a big group of people there unless you call ahead and confirm they’ll be showing a game.

I would say a good honorable mention would be CV Brewing Co. They have tons of TVs in their spacious tasting room and not to mention have at least a dozen different beers on draft that were made on location. They used to have food trucks every weekend but I’m not sure if they discontinued them.

Another almost honorable mention would be Matchbox. The outside patio has about three TV’s always showing different games and they have a stellar happy hour with food & drink specials. That patio is about one of the only places in downtown where you can have a beverage and watch the sun set. It can get incredibly hot though during the summer months, but once the sun goes down it’s a fantastic view.

Also, thank you for not mentioning Village Pub. I would love that place if the wait staff provided better service. It’s always had potential to be an epic sports bar but it seems like they only hire the people with the lowest IQ’s of the desert.

Keep up the good work. I’ll be looking forward to reading future articles.
