Someone scrawled ‘serial rapist’ on Bill Cosby’s Hollywood star

Police are investigating after someone vandalized Bill Cosby’s star, marking it with the words “serial rapist,” on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The LAPD became aware of the vandalism about 5:30 am on Tuesday morning, according to the LA Times.

It is not the first time the star has been vandalized. The word “rapist” was written across Cosby’s star three different times in 2014.

Cosby was found guilty in April on three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault.   More than 50 women have accused him of sexual assault, with many saying he drugged and raped them.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has a policy to never remove stars even for controversial people.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Leron Gubler, former Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive, said in 2015. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
