Over the weekend, those visiting Sterling Ruby’s Desert X installation in Whitewater, called Specter, were treated to an unwelcome surprise.
A crude heart was painted on the side of the large art piece, which can be found just north of Palm Springs, because some people will just not let anyone else have nice things.
Luckily, we are told that organizers were quickly able to clean it up (plus, I guess it could’ve been worse).
