So Cal Police Searching for “Snowbird Bandit” Bank Robber

Police in Orange County are on the hunt for a man nicknamed the “Snowbird Bandit”.

Authorities believe the man may be responsible for as many as 4 bank robberies in Orange County with the most recent occurring Monday at U.S. Bank in Ladera Ranch.

In that robbery, police say the man handed the teller a note, showed what appeared to be a gun tucked in his waistband, took the money and walked left.

The FBI describes the suspect as being about 6 feet tall, in his 60s, with white hair, glasses and weighing about 240 pounds.  In his last robbery, he wore a straw, fedora-type hat and a white button-up shirt with United States flags on it.
