A Riverside County Sheriff’s Department cruiser was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday morning that left one person injured.
The crash happened near the intersection of Avenue 50 and Washington Street a little before 4:30 am, according to KESQ. Police say the vehicle crashed into a palm tree.

The driver was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
No word as to the cause of the crash.
