Shake Shack is coming to Coachella fest

The food lineup was revealed for the 2018 Coachella Music an Arts Festival on Tuesday and while restaurants from all over the country will be on hand at the Empire Polo Club in Indio to serve up grub to festival goers, it’s the addition of Shake Shack that has people very excited.

And, unlike some of the restaurants coming to Coachella, Shake Shack won’t be in some VIP area serving burgers to only Paris Hilton.  Nope.  It’s in General Admission so everyone who goes can enjoy.

The Shake Shack menu includes burgers, hot dogs, fries, and some pretty rad custards – although it’s not yet known what their Coachella menu will be.

The other notable addition to the food lineup this year is a 40,000-square-foot food hall called Indio Central Market, which according to the LA Times is inspired by Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles.  The market will be located in what used to be the Mojave music tent and will house 15 food vendors and a kombucha bar.
