An elementary school in Texas is catching some heat after accepting a, well let’s just say questionable, note from a 7-year-old allowing her to go home.

Rosabella Dahu handed the note (seen above) to school officials – who then allowed her to hop on a bus home rather than stay for the afterschool program she was supposed to attend, reports Fox 12.

Her dad was, naturally, pissed.

“Basically a second-grader tricked the school system and was able to go home on this note,” Charlie Dahu told the television station. “You can clearly see she did not even spell the word bus, right?”

The note also did not have a signature.

Dahu found out his daughter was home when a concerned neighbor called him after Rosabella asked to use their restroom as she was locked out of her house.

Sheldon Independent School District released a statement, saying in part, “We are reviewing our training procedures to ensure that our afterschool grant program staff is properly trained in dismissal procedures. As we move forward, the district is working to make sure that all of our afterschool grant staff receives the same training as district employees.”
