Riverside Police searching for man who put $500 worth of frozen shrimp down his pants

Riverside police are asking the public for help in finding a man who walked into a grocery store, stuffed bags of frozen shrimp down his pants, walked out, then repeated the act several more times.

The suspect targeted a Vons store on Riverside Plaza Drive on the afternoon of December 4. The suspect went in and out of the store three times in 15 minutes and ended up leaving with over 30 bags of frozen shrimp worth $500, according to police.

The suspect is described as white, 50 to 60 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds, with short silver and black hair. He was wearing a white jacket, navy blue sweater, blue jeans and black-and-white sneakers.
