PSP working to add flight to Sacramento (still no Vegas flights tho)

Good news if you like cows, are a state senator, or did I already mention the cows? The Palm Springs Airport and the convention and visitors’ bureau are hard at work trying to get a route set up from the Coachella Valley’s airport to Sacramento – which is surely the route your were most hoping for.

“I can confirm that the CVB and airport are teaming up in dialogue with an airline that is interested in considering PSP-SMF service, but there is nothing to announce at this time,” airport Executive Director Thomas Nolan told the Desert Sun.

The quote was part of a story on flights to Chicago and Atlanta returning for “The Season” as well as a direct route being added to Everett, Washington.

Perhaps once they figure things out with Sac-Town, they can turn their attention to getting a non-stop route to Las Vegas – though that seems pretty unlikely.
