Police looking for Riverside snake thieves

Riverside police have released video of a man and a woman taking a snake from a pet store in hopes the public can help identify them.

The couple was in Elliott’s for Pets on Brockton Avenue last Friday at about 8 pm, according to Riverside PD. As seen in the video, the man opens the tank, reaches in, and grabs a small red-tailed boa constrictor. He then hands it to a woman and the two walk out.

The male suspect is described as a Hispanic adult, approximately 5’10, 200 pounds with black hair. The female suspect is described as a Hispanic adult, approximately 5’2, 125 pounds with brown hair, and appears to be pregnant.
