Police arrest Cathedral City man accused of robbing postal worker, discover honey-oil lab

Police arrested a 27-year-old Cathedral City man on Monday they say assaulted a postal worker and stole a package from the worker in Desert Hot Springs. Investigators also discovered evidence of a honey-oil lab at the man’s residence.

27-year-old Frederick Carl Victorero was arrested at Sunny Lane, according to KESQ. During the warrant service, deputies discovered evidence of clandestine honey-oil lab equipment and marijuana plants along with finished product, several weapons, high-capacity magazines, and a large amount of ammunition.

Victorero was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees.
