A man is dead after he struck by a vehicle in Indio on Thursday afternoon.
The collision was reported a little after 3:30 at the intersection of Madison and Avenue 48, according to police. The man, who was not identified, ws taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with officials.
