The Roots

The Roots

Jimmy Fallon’s band comes to Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa Friday at 9 p.m.  More than just a late show house band, The Roots are an immensely talented band and put on a hell of a show live – with songs including “You Got Me”, “Wake Up Everybody”, and “Surrender”.

Tickets will run you $55-$75.

A Frenzy of Disco

Spotlight 29 Casino hosts “Disco Frenzy” Friday night. The lineup includes several disco hitmakers including Gloria Gaynor (“I Will Survive”), Martha Wash, (“It’s Raining Men”), Heatwave (“Boogie Nights”), and Evelyn “Champagne” King (I Don’t Know if it’s Right”).

Not sure exactly what army “Kaptain” Robbie Knievel serves in, but the son of legendary daredevil Evel Knievel will jump over something that is not Barry Manilow on Saturday.  The jump is part of “Brews and BBQ” which will have, you guessed it, beer and barbecue available to drink and eat.

The event begins at 1 p.m.  – with Cap’n Knievel leaping over stuff at 5.  Tickets are $15 ($10 if you do not drink).
