A 54-year-old Palm Desert man has been arrested because police believe he stole $700,000 worth of, well, basically everything.

David Pedersen was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, drug sales, elder abuse, and a violation of bail after police found golf clubs, electronics, jewelry, collectibles, a sword(!), comic books, and sports memorabilia – with KESQ going so far as to say the house, on Cholla Drive, looked like something out of Hoarders.

Cops also found evidence related to the possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sales during their search.

Investigators believe the stolen items were taken from throughout the Coachella Valley and storage facilities.
