Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill

When: 3-6 pm, 7 days a week

What: Loads of drink specials and a huge selection of discounted food options including small pizzas, appetizers, burgers, and more.  The place can get pretty crowded, but they offer the specials throughout the restaurant – as well as the bar, so you can always grab a spot outside on the patio on a nice day or just grab a booth and watch the game on one of their many televisions.

What: Happy Hour pricing on well, beer, wine, and margaritas plus a bar menu with tacos, ceviche, nachos, and more.  Do note, the bar is pretty small, so plan on getting there early if you want to guarantee getting yourself a seat.

When: 3 to 6 pm, everyday

What: So sure, you are familiar with those expensive, flowy shirts they make that your grandpa wears all the time, but Tommy Bahama also does a pretty nice Happy Hour at the restaurant overlooking El Paseo.  The Happy Hour Menu has $7 cocktails including Mai Tais, Sangria, and Mojitos.  There is also $6 wine and a selection small plates like tacos and sliders starting at $8.

What: The restaurant at the Gardens on El Paseo has $7 cocktails, select wines and bar bites in the bar area and on the patio.

What: This El Paseo spot (where you are guaranteed to get lucky) has $5,50 well cocktails, $7.50 call cocktails, wine starting at 5 bucks, loads of tapas, and beer starting at $3.50.  It gets pretty crowded here during the busy tourist season and when it’s full, be sure to sign up for the waiting list – as it’s not open seating.

What: Scarf down a really good prime burger, steak sandwich, and tenderloin skewer salad plus other options.  The steakhouse also has special $9 prices on a selection of handcrafted cocktails plus beer and wine.

What: A big bar menu with appetizers, hot dogs, wings, burgers, tacos, and their famous prime rib sliders.  They usually have a pretty heavy pour here too, so you’re going to get your money’s worth.

What: Specials on beer, well drinks, and Bloody Marys at the Palm Desert dive bar that is easy to spot because, well, it’s a giant red barn!

What: The seafood spot at the Gardens on El Paseo offers $2 off wine and cocktails plus a discounted bar menu during Happy Hour.

What: The El Paseo bar has $8 flatbreads and small plates like empanadas, short rib sliders, and bruschetta for less than 10 bucks.  You will also find $4 beers, $6 wines.
