A man is dead after being shot in Desert Hot Springs Wednesday evening.
Police were called by someone who was reporting shouting. During the call, the person reported hearing shots, according to KESQ.
Police arrived at about 5:30 pm to Avenida Alta Loma to find a man shot dead and an injured woman in a car, reports the Press Enterprise. The woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating.
