One person is dead after a crash Sunday night on the 10 Freeway in Indio.
CHP dispatchers received a call of a pedestrian on the freeway about 8:20 pm, according to KESQ. Within a minute, another call was received by dispatch from a passenger in a car involved a collision.
The pedestrian, only identified as a homeless person from Perris, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries.
