Sports reporter Olivia Garvey has left KMIR.
Garvey, the daughter of former Dodger and Padre Steve Garvey, tweeted that she did her last sports segment on the NBC Palm Springs affiliate on Friday night. She went on to thank the viewers as well as local sports community.

While she didn’t say what her next opportunity might be, she told the Desert Sun that it’s something in Washington DC, but didn’t elaborate.
