A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital late Friday night after going 200 feet over the side of Highway 74.
Cal Fire responded to an area near Mile Marker 89 about 11:20 pm. They motorcyclist was extricated and taken by air to the hospital.

The rescue operation took about two hours.
The name of the motorcyclist and their current condition was not released.
