Nearly two dozen firefighters were called to the Burrtec recycling site in Palm Desert on Thursday to put out a large refuse fire.
Six fire engines responded to the scene after the fire broke out a little after 5 pm, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was contained less than an hour later.

No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
