A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Indio.
The victim was struck and killed at Van Buren and Avenue 48 near Martin Van Buren Elementary School, reports KESQ.
Indio Police were called at 6:37 am.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating and police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
