Man with gunshot wound dies after being ‘dropped off’ at Anza fire station

A man suffering from a gunshot wound was pronounced dead Tuesday night after he was left at a fire station in Anza.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was called to the station on Highway 371 about 11:37 pm. When they arrived, they found that Cal Fire personnel had pronounced the man dead, according to KESQ.

No other information was released, including the man’s name, the details of how he might’ve been shot, or who brought him to the fire station.
