A pedestrian is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Cathedral City Tuesday night.
Police told KESQ that the man was hit near Whispering Palms and Ramon Road when he was struck by the vehicle. Officers said that the man was jaywalking.
The driver remained at the scene. Police are investigating.
