A 29-year-old Banning man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Cathedral City early Saturday morning.
The collision happened a little after 2 qm at Date Palm and Vista Chino, according to the Desert Sun.
The name of the man was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the collision.
