Man stabbed in mosh pit by ‘psycho guy’ at punk rock show

A Westminster man was fatally stabbed in the mosh pit at a punk rock show at a Santa Ana nightclub Thursday night.

Nathan Joe Alfaro, 23, was involved in a fight with another man at about 10:30 p.m. in the mosh pit at Underground DTSA, reports The LA Times. During the fight, Alfaro was stabbed in the upper torso.

He made his way out of the mosh pit and onto the street outside the club, where he collapsed. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The band Feels was onstage while the fight broke out later wrote on Facebook, “Thank you to the poor kid who gave up his life last night to try to keep the one totally psycho violent moshing guy in check”:
