Man rams multiple gates at San Bernardino police headquarters with truck and no one knows why

Police are baffled as to why a 35-year-old man intentionally rammed both main gates at police headquarters in San Bernardino.

Louis Manuel Iniguez was arrested after driving his Toyota Tundra pickup into 2 seperate gates at the San Bernardino Police headquarters (on D & E Street) at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, reports The Press Enterprise.

“I thought it was an employee who lost his brakes,” Lt. Rich Lawhead told the newspaper. Lawhead then pulled the man over 3 blocks away after he sped away.

“What did you do that for?”, Lawhead asked.

“He said, ‘Don’t worry about it. Talk to my lawyer,'” Lawhead recalled hours later. “I couldn’t believe it!”

Iniguez was arrested for investigation of felony vandalism. He has no prior criminal history, according to police.
