A man was found dead at the site of an illegal marijuana grow in Anza on Sunday morning.
Deputies were called to a residence on El Toro Road about 7:35 am. When they arrived, they found a deceased male inside – an apparent victim of a shooting, according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators deemed the location as an illegal marijuana cultivation site and the Sheriff’s Marijuana Eradication Team responded to the scene and confiscated all contraband on the property.
The shooting is under investigation.
