Man arrested two times in three days in the High Desert

A man arrested in Twentynine Palms last Tuesday for identity theft was arrested just two days later in Yucca Valley for grand theft.

Joshua Thompson, 31, was arrested at the Twentynine Palms Stater Brothers at about 6 am on Tuesday, March 7 for identity theft, reports KCDC radio. He was arrested and released.

Then, Thursday police found Thompson sitting in a stolen truck on Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley. He was arrested for investigation of grand theft, receiving stolen property, and on a no-bail warrant for violating the terms of his probation.

He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
