Man arrested after 390 marijuana plants found in Palm Springs home

A Los Angeles man was arrested on Saturday after police discovered nearly 400 marijuana plants growing in a Palm Springs House.

Members of the Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force (CVNTF) of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant at the residence on Amelia Way at about 3 pm, according to a news release.

Police confiscated approximately 390 marijuana plants that were found in the home and approximately $1,200 dollars in cash.  Investigators also discovered that the home had illegally bypassed the power resulting electrical theft.

Yong Li, 40, was arrested for illegal marijuana cultivation.
