A man police say shot and killed a woman on the 10 freeway now faces additional charges after they say he was in possession of cocaine, weed, and Xanax when he was booked into the Blythe jail.

Kyler Jeffrey Arnold, of Chandler, Arizona, was arrested on Monday in connection with the death of Delores Stygar, 59, who was found shot in her car Sunday evening on the I-10 near Desert Center, reports the Desert Sun.

Stygar died at Desert Regional Medical Center later that night.

Arnold faces an involuntary manslaughter count and carrying a loaded firearm in public places.

As KESQ reports, he is also facing charges of possession of controlled substances while armed and possession of contraband in jail after police say that he brought cocaine, marijuana and Xanax with him into the Blythe jail when he was booked.
