Here’s a list of the types pants that should be allowed (and which should be banned) on airplanes

United Airlines, a very dumb airline who on Sunday barred two teenagers from theor flight for wearing leggings and forced a child to change out of leggings and into a dress before boarding, is under fire for being, well, ridiculous. The airline, which is clearly terrible, is now trying to justify its actions by saying the girls were pass holders and not regular flyers and they were worried about a dress code because I guess they have time for that rather than worrying about terrorism, maintenance, or just trying to get their damn planes to where they are going on time.

With United’s dumb policy now making news, I thought this would be a good time to go over what should and should not be allowed on planes:

What should be allowed:

  • Leggings
  • Dresses
  • Skirts
  • Shorts
  • Yoga Pants
  • Jeans
  • Slacks
  • Culottes
  • Cargo Pants
  • Khakis
  • Sweats
  • Really, any kind of pants

What is not allowed

No exceptions.
