LA mural only allows selfies if you are verified or have more than 20k followers

(Twitter)

Black Mirror is real.

Justin Caffier, a writer for Vice, posted a photo on Twitter Monday of the “new security-guarded mural in LA that only allows influencers and verifieds to take pics in front of it.”

The mural has a sign next to it with an explanation:

“PRIVATE MURAL

FOR VERIFIED INFLUENCERS AND PEOPLE WITH OVER 20,000 FOLLOWERS ONLY
WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
SEE SECURITY STAFF FOR PROOF AND ACCESS”

So, yeah…

Anyway, if you plan on checking it out (and you or verified or have 20k followers), here’s more info on it:

Something called “Like and Subscribe” is taking credit for the mural…

Many are speculating it may be some sort of prank, similar to “Nathan For You,” but so far all we know is something is coming July 9.

What a time to be alive.
