Kanye West to bring ‘Sunday Service’ to Coachella Weekend Two

Kanye West is coming to Coachella Weekend Two.

The performer, who was in negotiations to perform at this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival until his demands for a giant dome in the middle of the Polo Fields seemed a bit too much for promoters, will bring his “Sunday Service” to the event on Easter Sunday (April 21).

Kanye made the announcement on a private plane because, sure, why not?

“737 passengers, we’d like to make an announcement that we just booked another show,” Kanye said into a loudspeaker on board a plane, as seen in a video Kim tweeted.

“We will be doing Sunday Service sunrise at Coachella,” he continued, as the passengers erupted in cheers.

Coachella then confirmed because, you know, it’s Kanye.:

“We were out in Palm Springs and they took us to a little campground, because we were thinking about a little performance in Palm Springs, just a little one,” West says in the video. “Then they had a mountain, he had a mountain waiting for us.  He had a date waiting for us. Only one date that mountain would be available to us: Easter Sunday at Coachella. That confirmation was confirmed last night.”

Kanye has bee holding the musical Sunday Service in the hills of Calabasas for the last few weeks. According to E, the production features a gospel choir, dancing and other performances. The event has been attended by multiple celebs in including Orlando Bloom and fiancé Katy Perry.

No word yet on how any of this will work and, it’s Kanye, so don’t be surprised if things change quickly.  Also, it’s possible that this is some sort of gag – since it’s nearly April 1, which, if so, is, ummm, idk.
