Well, we all knew it was coming and, *deep breath*, it looks like those hot desert temperatures are coming back again.
The weather forecast is calling for a nice start to the week – with a high temp of 74 Monday and 80 on Tuesday – but, after that, winds will pick up and bring with them much hotter temperatures.
A Santa Ana pattern will bring gusty north to northeast winds to the Mountains, Foothills and the Inland Empire on Tuesday. Strongest winds will occur Tuesday morning and will weaken Tuesday afternoon. Gusty cross winds may create locally hazardous driving conditions.#CAwx pic.twitter.com/RpvS2LI3Vf

Wednesday should see a high of 89 and things will jump into the 90s by Thursday and Friday.
The weekend should be toasty too – though maybe not in the 90s, with the forecast calling for 88 degrees each day.
It was fun while it lasted, but it looks like it’s time to put away those long sleeves and turn on the air conditioners and swamp coolers again.
But, there’s good news, it should cool down again…in seven months.
