3 inmates escape from Orange County jail

Police are searching for three men, including a suspected murder, who escaped from the Orange County Men’s Jail on Friday.

Hossein Nayeri, 37, Jonathan Tieu, 20, and Bac Duong, 43, were last seen Friday morning, reports KABC. Officials realized that the three inmates were unaccounted for and conducted a search of the Central Jail Complex and nearby Santa Ana Civic Center. The men were not found and officials believe that the trio escaped.

The inmates face various charges: Tieu was held on suspicion of murder, Duong on an attempted murder charge, and Nayeri on charges of kidnapping and torture, according to police.
