It’s almost time again for the weekend and with high temperatures only hitting the 80s (!), you might just feel like sitting outside without the fear of burning up all day – which makes sense.  If you choose to venture out anywhere, here’s what’s going on in and around the Coachella Valley along with a couple of events just a short drive away.

Desert Stars Festival

It’s the 10th annual installment of the event held at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown. Over three dozen acts will perform over three days beginning Friday.  Artists include The Raveonettes, Psychic TV, Tess Parks, Mild High Club, Entrance, Ryley Walker, Tijuana Panthers, Kolars, and Spindrift. You can snag a weekend pass for $99 and there are single day passes available as well.
