San Bernardino how to help

Here are some of the ways you can help those affected by the terrible mass shooting in San Bernardino:

Donate blood

Following the attack, LifeStream blood bank sent out a release “urging local residents to give blood in order to assist the wounded being treated at local hospitals,” according to a news release.

The blood bank, which is headquartered in San Bernardino, provides blood products and services to Riverside County Regional Center in Moreno Valley, Loma Linda University Medical Center, and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where emergency teams are assisting the wounded, the release says.

During trying times like these, many people feel helpless — but you don't have to. You can #donateblood and assist…

The blood bank recently changed their rules regarding people with new tattoos, meaning more people are eligible to donate.
