A woman got tripped up and fell to her death at Grand Canyon National Park, officials announced on Monday.

35-year-old Colleen Burns of Orlando fell at Ooh Aah Point on Friday, about a mile down the popular South Kaibab Trail, according to CBS 2.

Burns had been hiking with family when she fell.

“She was stepping out of way for another gentleman to squeeze in,” one of Burns’ friends told WESH-TV. “Colleen got tripped up on her own feet and fell backwards … into the canyon.”

Her body was found by park rangers 400 feet from where she had been standing.

Burns’ last post on Instagram showed her sitting on the edge of the Canyon.
